Nick is a former Regional Special Agent in Charge for the United States Customs Service, where he was employed from 1987 until 2001. He has been in charge of the Office of Internal Affairs in El Paso, the Office of Investigations in Chicago and Detroit and the Senior Special Agent and DEA Liaison in USC Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Nick received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Newberry College in South Carolina in 1973. He attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, Georgia for basic and advanced training in investigative and management skills. He is an expert in financial crimes, including money laundering and corruption and has extensive experience in federal law enforcement human relations and administration. He has been associated with PICA in various capacities since 2002.
