Juan Carlos joined PICA as our Latin American General Counsel in September 2005. He is responsible for providing counsel to the executive management team and regional directors on legal matters throughout the Latin American region. Juan Carlos also spends much of his time counseling and training law enforcement representatives on behalf of our clients.

Prior to joining the organization he spent five years practicing law in Colombia in both the public and private sectors. His legal expertise includes intellectual property, contract and criminal law. He received his undergraduate and law degree from the Universidad de la Sabana located in Chia, Cundinamarca.
