Gregory Hord is a Senior Consultant for PICA Corporation and handles investigative and brand protection needs of clients throughout the United States. He has more than 20 years leadership experience in the investigations, security and loss prevention disciplines and has worked throughout the United States and Asia.

Having conducted more than 2,000 interviews during his career—focusing on theft, fraud, forgery and grafting—he brings extensive interview and interrogation experience to PICA. He served as the Director of Investigations for a Fortune 50 company where he was responsible for guiding all internal, external and international investigations. The investigations group was responsible for the identification of over $10 million in losses and the successful prosecution and resolution of thousands of cases during his tenure.

Hord has been extensively trained in force and facility protection as well as physical security. This training has provided tremendous experience in both evaluation and implementation of programs to protect assets. He also has strong work experience with safety programs to protect and safeguard people and property. This safety experience included seven years as a first responder for work place violence incidents.

Hord graduated from Otterbein College with a degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) and has been trained in ISO 28000 supply chain security management systems. He served in the United States Army as an enlisted infantry soldier and trained throughout Europe during his service.
