Richie KF Lum

Richie has been a corporate finance specialist and executive for over 15 years. Richie has extensive financial analysis and risk management experience and extensive senior-level business and official sector contacts across China and Hong Kong. Prior to joining the senior management team of PICA-SRA, Richie was employed by a bulge-bracket US investment bank as a senior treasury manager, responsible for regional treasury and risk management for the bank's multi-billion dollar business book with a varied array of existing and new businesses located across Asia, including the bank's establishment of businesses in India and Vietnam. Prior to this, he was head of corporate finance at a major Hong Kong government agency, responsible for special projects and corporate development, financing and securitization, consulting, and asset-liability management on a book of over USD 5 billion equivalent. Richie started his career as the investment manager for an international venture capital group headquartered in Hong Kong with an office in Vancouver, Canada, where the group owned two VSE-listed holding companies and managed a Canadian government approved venture fund with holdings in biotech, technology, logistics, consumer goods, finance, and real estate.
Richie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (1994) in Accounting from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Richie also holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and Certified FRM (Certified Financial Risk Manager) designations. He speaks English and Cantonese fluently, and is conversant in Mandarin Chinese and French.
