As a corporate lawyer with over 15 years of legal experience Miguel Moreno concentrates his legal practice in commercial, environmental and Intellectual Property Law. He joined PICA in 2009, after 2 years as General Director of Moreno Gutierrez Law Firm. Previously, Miguel worked for 17 years as Director of litigation and intellectual property for Grupo Bimbo, the third largest bakery corporation in the world and the largest in Latin America. At Grupo Bimbo, Miguel was responsible for planning and directing legal strategies for in-house lawyers and outside firms worldwide in the areas of litigation, contracts, governmental relations and intellectual property matters.

Miguel studied at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.He has a Doctorate in Law from the Universidad Panamericana. He also studied Intellectual Property Law at the Nacional Colegio de Abogados de Mexico and Environmental Law at the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. He has written and presented in the areas of Intellectual Property, Constitutional, Environmental and Administrative Law in Mexico.
