Joseph Shih
Regional Director - China, PICA-SRA

Joseph Shih initially joined the PICA team as the Asian Pacific Operations Manager in December of 2008. He is currently the Regional Director of PICA-SRA for China. Prior to joining PICA, Joe worked as a technical official assigned to the First Bureau of Science and Technology Office for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Joseph's knowledge also expands to the world of Computer IT as he assisted IBM China Limited in successfully launching new product lines throughout the Asia Pacific. After working at IBM, Joseph worked in Investor Relations, where he was responsible for building relationships and acting as a liaison between high-ranking Chinese government officials and CapitalLand Retail Ltd.

Joseph graduated from Southeast University in Nanjing, China with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and a Masters in Business Administration from Tsinghua University in Management Technology. Joseph enrolled in the CFA program and passed his CFA level-3 exam in 2006. Joseph brings his knowledge of investments, project management and information technology and strong relationship and communication skills to support PICA clients in the Asia Pacific Region. Joseph speaks fluent English in addition to his native Putonghua.
