Leonardo Hernandez is Named Vice President of PICA Latin America
TAMPA, Florida -- PICA Corporation has named Leonardo Hernandez Vice President of Latin American Operations. Hernandez will manage administration and operations for the Latin American Region, which has continued to increase in business development and announced the opening of the new São Paulo, Brazil Office this past month.
Hernandez has over thirty-five years experience before joining PICA Corporation as Special Operations Director and is an expert in international investigations. He established a solid background in insurance investigations, working for Continental National American Group Insurance Co. from 1968 – 1975. He then went on to become a special agent for the CIA from 1975 – 1979, where he developed skills in national security investigations and anti-terror operations. He continued in law enforcement as a supervisory special agent for the DEA from 1979 – 2000, leading international task forces and directed operational planning. Hernandez added to his credentials by developing major piracy investigations for DIRECTV Latin America, where he worked as a regional manager from 2001 – 2004. Hernandez holds a B.A. in Political Science and M.A.E. Degree in Administration & Supervision from the Inter American University, Puerto Rico.
