PICA Corporation Hires Former FBI Security Expert, Robert Dogium as Senior Security Consultant

HOUSTON, Texas – Robert Doguim, an experienced security advisor and former FBI agent, has been named Senior Security Consultant in the Houston office of PICA Corporation, one of the world’s largest risk management, IP protection and security consulting companies.

“Mr. Doguim is well respected in the security industry, and his impressive government background, knowledge and expertise in Central America will reinforce and strengthen our Houston team,” said Vincent Volpi, CEO of PICA Corporation.

Doguim formerly served for 20 years as a special agent of the FBI, where his career was highlighted by numerous roles in international and domestic investigations, along with security issues. He has been assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Panama, working in a highly visible and politically sensitive position to develop and implement a civilian law enforcement policing program as part of the international relations branch within the Department of Justice. Serving as a country team member and advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Panama, he assumed full responsibility for collaborating with host country ministries and government officials. Including serving on committees with Asst. Secretary of State Jonathan Wiener and Panamanian government and banking officials to develop programs to combat money laundering and trafficking of stolen vehicles from the U.S. into Central America.

Doguim has extensive experience working in Puerto Rico and throughout the Caribbean as a result of having been assigned to the FBI office in San Juan. Part of his responsibilities included being the intelligence coordinator where he developed informants and managed intelligence as it related to terrorist organizations. Doguim also was responsible for assisting and establishing three new satellite offices throughout Puerto Rico, the operating budgets and development of policy and procedures while adhering to security requirements.

Doguim also has served as the president and a member of the board of directors of a security company. As president of the holding company, he was involved in identifying potential companies for acquisition and conducting road show presentations for private investment groups in an effort to raise capital for these acquisitions.
