General (r.) Leonardo Gallego

General (r) Leonardo Gallego, was the Director of Antinarcotics of the Colombian National Police from 1994 to 1999 before being named General Director of  the SIJIN ( Judicial and Investigative Department of the CNP) from 1999 to 2000.

From 2000 to 2001, he was the Director of Anti Kidnapping and Anti Extortion for the CNP, and from 2001 until 2003 he was the Commander of the Metropolitan Police of the city of Medellín.
Gallego received the title of Specialist in Management and Public Finance from The Universidad Central.  Additionally, he is a member of the CIDENAL (National Defense Integral Course of the Escuela Superior de Guerra of the General Command of the Military Forces).

He received a Certificate in Management at the Universidad de Los Andes in 1999. He received his Degree in Business Administration from the EAN University and is a licensed Private Security Professional. Currently, General Gallego is a member of the board of PICA Corporation and CEO of the private security company Risk and Solutions Group Ltda.
